Membership Benefits

| Participate in Exciting Show Opportunities: The Colorado Chapter is an active group with many exhibition opportunities for artists. Our 2003 calendar includes shows at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, Denver, Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, and the Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder among others. Membership benefits include no entry fee for participation in these shows, however, most shows are juried. Members have the opportunity to show individual artworks and to participate in collaborative group installations. |

Join a Network of Artists: When you join WCA you enter into a national and local community of women in the arts. The national chapter hosts yearly conferences and the local chapter holds meetings and special events, such as gallery talks, panel discussions, gallery walks, community outreach, group installations, networking and potlucks. |

| Stay Connected to What's Happening in the Arts: Twice a year, members receive a newsletter from the National Chapter. Opportunities to present Scholarly Papers at the National WCA Conferences. Access to the Local and National Membership Directories. Participation in our local email discussion group listing (Yahoo! Groups) that lists events, activities and show opportunities. E-mail is our main form of communication in our local chapter. | |
| Promote Your Art: Membership includes
links on the local and national
Web Sites to your individual Web pages.
And a chance to participate in unique promotional opportunities such as our virtual group show at the Artist's Register.com. Developed and managed by the nonprofit Western States Arts Federation, ArtistsRegister.com is a democratic site showcasing U.S. visual artists-from emerging to award-winning professionals. This membership-based online community connects artists with collectors, gallery owners, curators, interior designers, public art administrators, art enthusiasts and other artists. |

Membership in WCA- CO is $45 ($30 goes to the National Chapter and $15 is for your local membership). Your membership is valid for one calendar year. Jan through Dec. No prorating is available.
